Beneficial-owner charts and the missing intermediate company

Multi-entity wealth management applications stumble when ownership annexes skip a company that still appears in the bank statements.

Family wealth rarely sits in one name. A wealth management application may list personal accounts, a holding company, and a trust. The beneficial-owner chart is supposed to show how they connect. Problems appear when an intermediate company is omitted from the annex yet still funds the account via its statement.

What we do in review

We trace inbound transfers and registry extracts, then overlay the ownership diagram. Missing nodes become findings. Extra nodes that never appear in funding flows become questions.

Thailand context

Registry extracts and bilingual company names can look like two entities when they are one. We note spelling variants so your KYC team can confirm identity rather than chase a ghost company.

Takeaway

If a statement is important enough to include as an exhibit, the issuing entity should appear somewhere in the ownership story of the application.
