What moves an estimate
- Page volume above roughly 250 pages or more than four related entities
- Rush windows inside three business days of a custody or committee date
- Language mix requiring certified translation coordination (translation fees billed separately by your chosen translator)
- Batch retainers for eight or more files in a quarter — often priced with a blended per-file rate
Retainers
Family offices and private-bank operations teams sometimes retain a block of audit days each month. Unused days do not roll indefinitely; we agree a use-by date in the engagement letter.
Deposits
For first-time clients or rush work, we may request a 40% deposit before document intake. The balance is due on delivery of the findings memo.
